AIRO Census Mapping Module
The All-Island Research Observatory (AIRO) at NUI Maynooth have worked with us to produce a Census Mapping Module for Irish schools. It offers a great way to examine and interact with a selection of census data going back over the last four censuses.
The mapping module displays a balanced selection of curriculum-relevant data from 1996 to 2011 for counties and regions, including Population, Population Density, Age Groups (Male and Female), Dependency Ratios, Place of Birth, Means of Travel to School or Work, Industry of Employment and Internet Access.
